Course Pre-requisites

Attendees are required to have a basic understanding of risk management and basic computer skills of Microsoft office.

Course overview

  • Bowtie methodology
  • Hands-on BowTie exercises using the BowTieXP software

The course is aimed at regular users that may use the BowTieXP software to create bowtie models by applying the methodology. The course covers the core elements of bowtie development and their relationships. These elements and relationships are modeled using the BowTieXP software. Participants will be able to model the bowtie in order to analyze the risk, evaluate the risk, treat the risk, and capture the key information within for visibility and communication.

We recommend that attendees become familiar with ISO3100 Risk Management – Principles and Guidelines prior to attending the course.

Supervisors, Managers, Engineers and personnel responsible for managing risk-based activities.
