The Dutch State Supervision of the Mines (SODM), the regulatory body responsible for the overseeing compliance with statutory regulations in mineral exploration, extraction, storage and transport (Oil and Gas), decided to use the BowTieXP software for BowTie analysis used in supervision. The Dutch Safety Board (OVV) concluded that, after examining around seven individual incidents, the Dutch State must exert adequate supervision of the safety management carried out by gas network operators.

SODM after being trained by our partner DHV decided that the use of Bowtie’s will support and improve their tasks.
