Industry Awards
Nominations
We have asked our partners to nominate clients in three categories:
1.“Industry Leading Initiative”
Management effort to make a change
2.“Best Application of a risk management method”
‘Step changing’ method or software application
3.“Best Initiative for compliance & working safely”
Project or program
These categories are set-up to recognize the different forms of effort that organizations make to assure that operations are executed in a safe and secure manner for all ‘stakeholders’: personnel, management, clients, shareholders, regulators, legal authorities and the society as a whole. The categories focus on general awareness programs, concrete application of solutions to make a change or other projects that are initiated to make a positive change to the way organizations operate.
In addition to these categories for organizations, we have decided to created a special 'Lifetime Achievement'-category for a select number of people who have played an important role in the acceptance of barrier based methods in various industries and on various continents.
We are in the final stages of completing the nominations, beginning of September the nominations will be handed over to the jury.
The nominations will be presented during the Industry Awards Recognition. Tony Gower-Jones, Board Member of the Tripod Foundation, will host the election in Dauphine during the Participants Party. In his daily work Tony Gower-Jones is the HSE Director at Centrica Energy.

“With the Awards, we provide a platform for our ‘industry leading’ clients, partners and consultants to share innovative risk management approaches from various industries,” Arjan Verboom, Program Director at CGE, says. “By implementing innovative barrier based methods and software, organizations can improve the reliability, efficiency and safety of their operations.”
“To understand the full scope of integrated risk management – and to be able to manage the reliability of the controls, not only lowers the risk profile, but also supports the increase of the efficiency and competitive advantage for our clients,” Arjan Verboom continues. “Our clients who perform well in risk management, are the same clients that perform well on growth and profitability.”
