Introduction
CGE has organized a two-day event bringing you the cutting edge on barrier based risk management in different industries. Engaging speakers have addressed different and exciting topics. The event was set-up to share ideas, insights, best practices and experience with thought leaders, regulators, knowledge institutions and your peers.
This event was for a diversified audience of HSE, business, finance , legal and compliance professionals as well as regulators and knowledge institutions.
The location of the Network Event was at Hotel/Conference Center Casa 400 in Amsterdam, close to the center, because of the international character.
Attendees from the oil & gas industry can combine the network event had the opportunity to attend the IADC Conference on 26 and 27 September in Amsterdam.
Set-up of the event
The program of the event was content-driven & interactive, focused on sharing knowledge and interacting as much as possible: opinions, methodologies and practical expertise. The overall theme was "Barrier Based Risk Management".
The topics of the plenary lectures on the first day focused on managing incidents, while the topics of the plenary presentations on the second day were more about preventing incidents from happening. The break-outs sessions on both days discussed specific topics and were repeated, enabling you to choose which topics you liked to learn more about.
The event was meant for all industries: Oil & Gas, Energy, Maritime, Mining and Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Aviation, Transport, Financials, Commercials Businesses, Government & National Institutions, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, IT, Engineering & Construction, Consulting, Telecom & Utilities.
And last, but not least: the conference had a strong social/personal element. It’s was not only about sharing vision, content, best practices & knowledge and connecting people. There was also be a relational and 'fun'-factor: the Participant Party on the evening of Monday 24 September.
